What is under all the ice and snow in the Antarctic

the ice caps on the poles would be much, much bigger and that would certainly influence our climate in increasing the earths albedo (reflection of the sun light) and the climate would be colder.-probably dead animal oil deffinatly mmm water? thats abot it-Animals.......
Pretty much what you find in Norway, where I live; rocks. Here, in Norway, the glaciers melted away after the last ice age and carved the deep fjords. I guess that if the ice of the Antarctic was gone, it would look like rocks with a lot of round stones; the moraines from the broken stones.

However, it would not be green because both poles are regions of high pressure since cold air sinks. It would be pretty much a desert like the Sahara or any other places around the two belts of high pressures at roughly the latitudes 30 N and 30 S.

In a way, it is lucky for us that both poles are regions of high pressure with little precipitation, otherwise, the ice caps on the poles would be much, much bigger and that would certainly influence our climate in increasing the earth's albedo (reflection of the sun light) and the climate would be colder.
