What is worse a TORNADO or a HURRACAINE

and don't say its a t!TT twister as that is so lame...

A hurricane is much worse for so many reasons....
1) More people impacted by winds
2) Hits more densely populated areas (hurricanes hit along the coast and tornadoes usually hit areas in the plains where few people live).
3) Hurricanes also bring a huge amount of flooding

But tornadoes are bad to because you do not have a lot of time to prepare (you might have 10 minutes notice, but for a hurricane you can have up to 3 days notice).

They are so different, that its not easy to say whats worse, but hurricanes are because of there ability to destroy large areas of land.

If you live on the coast then its hurricanes you shpuld watch for, they are more devastating and can wipe out towns on a larger scale than a tornado. But tornadoes are quick and without warning, and they can form in the middle of the night without warning and since its so dark, they are practically invisible. It basically depends where you live

hurricane has more overall damage is ridiculously huge compared to a tornado and is really devastating

a tornado would probably be more worrisome if it was coming near you and it was strong but a hurricane could be just as devastating they both have their negatives obviously

Hurricanes are by far worse because they have high winds and the sea. Tornadoes just have high winds. So if you live by the ocean...BEWARE! haha but if you live in the Midwest of the U.S. then you should be worried about tornadoes. i hope this helps:)

A tornado would be worse, since you don't have much warning. At least with a hurricane, you have plenty of time to board up the windows, tie everything down, and/or run for inland.

Tornado. People don't get warned fast enough. and a hurricane people usually know days ahead of time. Opinion

A hurricane is always worse because it causes a storm surge and it contains tornadoes.
