.but why???thank you!Clearly,......
an ice skater doing a spin pulls in her arms, decreasing her moment of inertia by a factor of four. How does her angular speed change?

It increase by a factor of four...but why???

thank you!

Angular momentum L = I*w
Clearly, if I decreases by a factor of 4, w must increase by the same factor to conserve L.
