Help with physics homework???(How to calculate speed with mass,height,gravity)

=> v = √2gh = √(2 * 10 * 10) = √200 = 10√2 or 14.=> v^2 = 2 * 10 * 10 => v = 14.......
A rock of mass 2kg at a height of 10m was dropped vertically down.(Taking g to be 10N/kg and air resistance as negligible)
Calculate maximum speed of rock

-
As far as air resistance is not considered, mass will not affect the value of max velocity. Max velocity will be at the lowest point of the ball's path.
=======================================…
Method 1
=======================================…
By Energy Conservation,

Energy at Highest Point = Energy At lowest Point

=> mgh = 1/2 mv^2

=> v = √2gh = √(2 * 10 * 10) = √200 = 10√2 or 14.14 m/s
=======================================…
Method 2 :
=======================================…
Using Motion Equations ---->

v^2 = u^2 + 2gh [IIIrd Equation of motion]

=> v^2 = 2 * 10 * 10 => v = 14.14 m/s
