79 x60 / 1.6 x10^-19 = 4.47x10^22-There are 1000 (mA) in an amp.One electron is equal to one Coulomb. Therefore the charge of an electron is 1.6 x10^-19 so the number of electrons in one coulomb is 1/1.......
A current of 76.1 mA exists in a metal wire.
How many electrons flow past a given crosssection of the wire in 9.79 min?
Answer in units of electrons

-
number of electrons n = i t / e = 76.1x10^-3 x 9.79 x60 / 1.6 x10^-19 = 4.47x10^22

There are 1000 (mA) in an amp.

One electron is equal to one Coulomb.(+flow)
Therefore the charge of an electron is 1.6 x10^-19 so the number of electrons in one coulomb is 1/1.6x10^-19

=6.25x10^18 electrons

so for one Amp that would be 6.25x10^18 electrons per second flowing around the circuit/component

Now do the math.... :-)
