I'm a little tempted to ask you if you go to my school :) We learned about this recently, so it's still fresh in my mind. (I had a test over it today)

If I remember right, it's the one with the 0's.
( / = divide )
First you do:
3(0)+2y=6
0+2y=6
2y/2= y and 6/2= 3
so y= 3

Next you do:
3x+2(0)=6
3x+0= 6
3x/3= x and 6/3= 2
so x=2

The answers are y= 2 and x= 3
If you're suppost to graph it afterwards, remember that the 'Y-axis' is the one that goes up and down and the 'X-axis' is the one that does sideways.

You find x when y=0, so finding x-
step 1. make y=0
so it's 3x+2(0)=6

step 2. solve 2 times 0, =0
so it's 3x=6

step 3. divide both sides by 3 to get x by itself
so it's x=2. Keep this answer to the side

Now, let's find y-
step 1. make x=0
so it's 3(0)+2y=6

step 2. solve 3 times 0, =0
so it's 2y=6

step 3. divide both sides by 2 to get y by itself
so it's y=3.

Now you have the answer of the intercepts, x=2 and y=3.
If the question asked you to write this as an ordered pair, it would be (2,3)

Hey my dear its preety simple. See the eqn. x/a +y/b =1. Is d equation of a straight line whose x nd y intercepts are a nd b respectivly. Just divide both side of ur equatn by 6 so dat the rhs becomes 1. Den u will get x/2 +y/3 =1. Nw ur x intercept is 2 nd y intercept is 3 . Dats it.
