Physicists do any of you believe in anything such as yin and yang

There are a lot of prejudices people have about scientists and they are untrue. Sadly I have come across people who would claim to be scientists, but who are too close-minded to be scientists. Your comment about them being technicians is regrettably spot-on.We do not understand everything about science and some theories that were held to be true, have now been discovered to not be accurate after all.......
i know there are a lot of scientists that seem to reject basic ways of understanding things because it just isn't a proven thing. ive heard to be a true physicist you have to be open to new ideas or else you are just a technician. im not trying for any ego backlash here just logic and an open mind. like is there any way to prove that the world has existed for millions of years and wasnt created at a certain period in time, why just say all the tests point to yes so it is true? i dont believe in free will or god but i believe things are much easier understood through simpler ways of thinking. if you could create a grand theory that explained everything as it is now more easily would you reject easily explained ideas i know ideas like relativity are very indepth but is there any way to relate those things to more easily described ideas. i have just always thought of time and space being intertwined like yin and yang.

I'm not quite sure about Yin and Yang, as I do not know enough about them to have a valid opinion.

But I am the real deal - I am a scientist and I believe in some similar concepts. I also believe in God and have answered many questions on Y!A over the years about why scientists seek to disprove God, etc. (we DON'T).

We do not understand everything about "science" and some theories that were held to be true, have now been discovered to not be accurate after all. That is why true scientists may not always have the definite answer you may want, because real science is about being able to predict things to the best of our CURRENT knowledge.

For example, Einstein refused to believe quantum entanglement could be true, because it just sounds so unbelievable. We now know it really does exist and quantum entanglement encryption for computers is a reality, yet we are still largely ignorant of what exactly is going on in quantum entanglement, and of the nature of the ability of the two quanta to "communicate" with each other.

What you say sounds a bit like the "Grand Unified Theory of Everything" that scientists are working on. It is believed that there may well be one theory (and so equation) from which all others can be derived from. It is hoped it will be simple and so really beautiful. Hopefully within our lifetime it may be discovered.
