I am having a lot of trouble with this question. Help?
Part 1: Explain, in complete sentences, how you would multiply the following expression:

Part 1:
You would multiply the numbers in front of the roots (12 and 6) first, and then multiply the numbers under the roots (x^5 and x). The product of the numbers in front of the root stays in front of the root, and the product of the numbers under the roots stays under a root.

Part 2:
Multiplying 12 by 6 gives 72, and multiplying x^5 by x gives x^6.
So the product is 72 sqrt(x^6)
Since sqrt(x^6) is just x^3, the answer is 72x^3
