The answer is 45 seconds but I do not know how to solve it

Hello

you can not mean that the answer is 45 seconds.

The weight sinks down by 0,2 m when connected to the spring. And the spring constants are simply additive. One spring pushes, the other pulls with the same force.

So you can find k for the system: k = N/s = 0,5*9,81/0,2 -->
k = 24,52 N/m

And now you can find the period time by
T = 2pi√(m/k) = 2pi*√(0,5/24,52)
T = 0,897 seconds.

Since it takes 1/2 period time to reach the top point, the time needed is 0,897/2 s
= 0,4485 seconds.

This sounds much better than 45 seconds.
