The prefix psycho refers to the mind (not the brain) and in some older uses to a person's spirit.
The suffix kinetic (also seen as kinesis) refers to movement.
Thus the word psychokinetic (or psychokinesis) refers to movement via the mind (not the body).
Energy would be whatever force is responsible for this movement which is thus far undetermined.
The more current term is mind-matter interaction.
