What's the deal with multiple numbers

I've been seeing a lot of those lately, especially on the clock and especially 11:11, 1:11...What does this mean? Is it a bad thing? Remember that number movie where Jim Carrey was obsessed with the number 23? Yeah, it's becoming a little like that. Boyfriend is starting to think I'm crazy. He's probably right. I have been having continuous bad luck lately. Well really, for the past year. Is this something, or nothing at all?

You aren't seeing it more than any other number, you are just taking more notice when you do happen see it. It's called confirmation bias.
