Last night I woke up and I was wide awake! But all could do was move my eyes! Then I got up (not my body, my vision) and I went out to the kitchen but before I could make it out the back door,I literally got sucked back into my body and I could move again! What was it? A ghost? Aliens?

It's called sleep paralysis, and it's fairly common.

Basically, your body thinks you're still dreaming and so doesn't respond to your brain telling it to move.
(your eyes are the only part of your body that moves while you're asleep)

From what you have described it does appear that this is most likely what you have encountered. It appears to have all the hallmarks of an encounter with sleep paralysis. This is something that can surely take you for a ride. One minute you are in the middle of a normal dream , then the next you are in the middle of a something rather odd and frightening and is something that can surely give you cause for alarm. It is much like a waking nightmare and you can seemingly have your consciousness but some rather odd instances can come into play. You can have a sense of presence, have hallucinations of seeing things that do seem quite real and all the while you cannot move or speak. There is a good book I recommend by David J. Hufford called "The Terror That Comes In The Night". It explains in great detail this condition as well as associated folklore and other related traditions. Good luck and take care.

This is called lucid dreaming. Basically, you are "awake in your dream". When this constantly happens, you can work to control your dreams.
