My Xbox turned itself on and off, ghost

I saw my Xbox on, the sound it made sounded like it had literally JUST been turned on. I stared at it for a few seconds wondering what could have turned it on (not in that way, lol). I was gonna get up from my bed and turn it off but then suddenly the green light went off, it had turned itself off!......
Hi,

So last night I woke to the sound of my Xbox 360 (the humming sound they make) and saw it was on, before I went to sleep I checked both my PS3 and Xbox to make sure they weren't on because I don't want them to overheat or anything, unlikely I know (especially for the PS3) but it has on rare occasions been known to happen. Getting back to the point, I saw my Xbox on, the sound it made sounded like it had literally JUST been turned on. I stared at it for a few seconds wondering what could have turned it on (not in that way, lol). I was gonna get up from my bed and turn it off but then suddenly the green light went off, it had turned itself off! After that I didn't want to get up from my bed, Xbox's are turned on and off by a pad which just needs the lightest touch to turn on and off, but creepier yet, the pads that turn them on are DNA (or something like that) activated because I've tried to turn it on before with objects but none of them work so it seems to only activate by skin. There was NOBODY in my room at all. The only people in the house were my dad and my sister and they both said that they didn't turn it on or even come in my room.

I know this is sounding like something you would find in a horror book but is definately what I saw.

Thanks!

P.S. I have had a few paranormal experiences in my house before, about 75% of which are in my room -_-

P.S.S. Please no stupid answers!

Maybe the wires in it are accidentally touching each other, so it turned on, but then, an air or something moved them from each other.
Try to play it and see if same thing happens.

The pads are NOT DNA-activated. The idea your'e looking for is similar to smartphones that require the human body's electrically-grounded touch to work. But the xbox controllers aren't that either. You're mistaken. This wouldn't be found in a horror book because it isn't scary. There is no such thing as ghosts.
