That's a very cool question. The canvas of 3rd dimensional reality is darkness. It's the default. Take everything else away and all that remains is space and darkness. Turn out the light and instant darkness. Looks like you've got lots of researching to do at any rate. Black holes and the voids between galaxies.

Nice random question lol But i suppose the speed of dark is gonna be the time it takes for the light to disappear meaning its all relative to the situation. So whereas the speed of light is a constant the speed of dark will always be variable. If that makes sense lol
