TrumpCareFails say: This is a (silly) question that has no answer; it's like looking at a recipe for bread, and demanding to know whether it is the flour, the yeast, or the water that "is the bread"...
Neither egg nor sperm are a baby.....and even AFTER the sperm fertilizes the egg, what you have is a zygote, not a "baby".....
From a strictly Scientific standpoint, it's not a baby until it has developed enough to survive on its own (about six months after conception), and from a purely Biblical viewpoint, it is not a baby until it takes its first gasp of air at birth, when the Lord "breathes life" into it (Genesis 2:7)...

Gert say: The egg. They don't harvest sperm. They harvest eggs from a woman to save as future children.
