.. in taking vitamins... or having them injected into ur but?......
Is there really a difference... in taking vitamins... or having them injected into ur but?
The B6 & B12 vitamins I'm inquiring about.

Does anyone know? Thanks.

The injecting only makes sense where the vitamin is very poorly absorbed by the gut anyway (B12 case in point), or there is an absorption problem which is the reason for going via injection rather than the gut. For example, a pregnant woman with hyperemesis gravidarum (kinda like a super super bad morning sickness) who can't keep anything down may get vitamin injections because if she takes them by mouth, she'll just vomit them up again, and as she is eating no food as well as being pregnant she is someone who would actually need the vitamins. (By the way, B6 is actually one of the treatments for HG too). Generally, only take vitamins if you have been told that you need it... taking hundreds of vitamins that your body already has plenty of is just wasting money and you just pee it out. Watch, you can often see the your pee colour change.

Completely agree with above post too.

From wide experience I can tell that often only B12 injections are effective
The best proof is patients with recurrent aphthous ulcers ["cancer-sores"] who often react only one b12 injections and not on sublingual b12. This is the easiest proof to check!

IF YOU NEED to take vitamins - and this is very rarely the case - then injectible B-12 is more reliable. As fas as B6, the oral form is well absorbed.

The likelihood of this being of any benfit is VERY small.

Be careful that you don't take the mantra "if a little is good then a lot has to be great" as fact; this seems to be a common perception amongst people swallowing multiple vitamin pills. This is a very dangerous idea. Also be aware that large doses of pyridoxine(B6) can cause disease.
