Discrete variable and continuous variable

Which one is discrete and which one is continuous?

The weight of the flour in a bag ?
The number of whole bricks that fit in a bucket?

weight=continous
amount of bricks = discrete

The reason is because we cannot say that there are 1.5 bricks
but we may say for example a man measure 1.80 meters.
