i was given this for a severe dental infection... tried amoxcillin, didn't work.. is this antibiotic safe, what side effects should i look out for??

Its safe. Amoxi isn't strong enough for dental abscess. Clindamycin is a better choice. Look out for possible diarrhea. Take acidolpholus or probiotics or yogurt to prevent this
