Hi everyone! I wanna get my lips like Angelina jolie, but how can I tell a doctor is fake? Do i ask about his/her patients before going to this doctor? Because I don't wanna die a painful way because of some stupid *** doctor. Exuse my language.

In every state of the United States, and every province and territory in Canada have governing bodies that will keep a registry or a doctor's list that is in good standing with the board. If you're wanting to ensure that the doctor is qualified to perform various procedures simply take a look at the country's governing body.
Below are some of the links to them, so that you can take a look:

I hope that this helps you. Generally colleges, and doctor's offices cannot give out information about previous patients due to confidentiality, so if you're looking to see if a doctor is qualified to practice in the type of work, then call the contact in your area, or look on one of the websites, so that you can check it out.

Check out his/her license through state (Countries?) Medical Board. Then if the said Doctor turns out to be legitimate, you can request (though not promised), testimonials from actual patients. I just can't imagine having surgery to resemble another persons' features'. I think that is fake.

Google his name. Look at his credentials. Do a research and ask his patients of their experience. Do your homework. It's not that hard. In this age of digital information technology, that shouldn't be so much of a problem. Take care. Hope the procedure will get you the desired outcome or you may turn out looking like octomom (just kidding).

Ask to see his medical license.
