I have some different opinion.
Though a chess board contains 8 x 8 'white' and 'black' squares.
it also has squares of 2 x 2 made from above 'white' and 'black' squares.
it also has 3 x 3 squares made from above 'white' and 'black' squares.
it also has 4 x 4 squares made from above 'white' and 'black' squares.
......
.......
also one largest square of size 8 x 8 made from above 'white' and 'black' squares.
so there are many many 'SQUARES'

Any comments on it ?????

You can't count the number of rows and columns because that's counting, and counting isn't allowed.

1. Weigh the chessboard.
2. Cut one square out of the chessboard and weigh it.
3. Divide weight of chessboard by weight of one square.
4. Go buy another chessboard because you just ruined yours.

If i am not mistaken chessboards has a fixed number of squares = 64
so no need to count it. it is a fixed number.

God Bless!
