What is the ratio of potential energy & total energy of particle executing Simple harmonic motion , when the displacement of the particle is half of its amplitude?
-
For shm we have F =kx
and energy = sum ( F dx) = 1/2 k x^2
so the potential energy at 1/2 max amplitude is 1/4 max potential energy.

LOL.
Serves you right for not paying attention. Google it.
