I need help

-
y=2(x^2+2x+1)-1

y =2(x+1)^2 -1

y+1 =2(x+1)^2

Vertex =(-1,-1)

-
you can get the vertex simply by using this
V (-b/2a, 4ac-b²/4a)
a = 2, b = 4, c = 1
substitute:
V (-4/4, 4(2)(1)-16/4(2))
simplify
V (-1, -1)
