f) divide $200 to the ratio 2:3 OK it is I think. 200/x=2:3 x is $300 right?
g) divide 80 coconuts in the ratio 1:2 Some one gets 1/3 (26.7coconuts) and the rest...53.3 coconuts
h) increase $40 in the ratio 2:5 Do not understand.
i) decrease 45 litres in the ratio 4:1 Same
j) convert 6 hours to minutes Easy... 60 in hour so 60*6=360 minutes.
k) convert 3 km/hr to m/s first to km/s 3*60*60= 3*360 km/s then to m/s 3*360/1000 3*.36 = 1.08m/s (about how fast I run) Check for reasonableness.

l) in one exam a student scored 40%. what was the mark of the student if the paper was out of 70 you mean 40th percentile? no way to figure. BUT a trick? the anser is 40%
