im so lost right now,
please explain to me, how do i know when f prime is increasing
and can you please help me on the problems where there is a red x on the link thank you so much 10points

The graph show f '. So the slope of f ' is f ''

C) when f ' is increasing, going up, then f '' is positive, so f(x) is concave up:
(1,3)U (5,7)U (8,9)

D) When f ' is decreasing, coming down, then f '' is negative, so f(x) is concave down:
(0,1)U (3,5)U (7,8)

E) inflection points are where f '' = zero, so f ' graph has horizontal tangent lines. Also there must be a change in concavity.
