No one knows. In fact, many geologists aren't convinced that the "last" ice age is actually over. You see, there was a period between the Riss and Würm glaciations over 100,000 years long when the climate was milder than it has been in the last 10,000 years since the Würm ended. How can we know if the Würm is really over. Hindsight is 20-20.

We may not even be out of the last one. Arctic core samples gave led some geologists to believe that many, many years ago the arctic was entirely devoid of ice. The ice caps are currently melting, putting two and two together I'd say a bloody long while.

We are still in an ice age just at the end of it. Hence the polar ice caps melting. I'm not sure when another ice age will be coming
