this is a question that is on a packet i was given in geometry class...i was having trouble with it, please help me ;) The verticies of a triangle are P(-2, -4), Q(2,-5), and R(-1, -8). Name the vertices of the image reflected in the y-axis.

I might be a little rusty on this, but I'm sure that the y coordinates are kept the same while the sign of the x coordinates get change. Let's take P for example. The x coordinate is -2, so when it is reflected over the y axis, it become +2, which is simply written as 2. Since the y coordinate of P (-4) stays the same, the reflected coordinate is (2,-4). Do this with Q and R to get the reflect coordinates of the other two vertices.
Sorry if my instructions are incorrect at all. I'm very rusty on some of my math since I'm doing more advance stuff now.
