1 is B. #2 should be 36, unless you left something out. :)

When doing multiple choice, if you don't know how to work the problem out us elimination pick a middle # from your choices, plug it in if too small go larger if too big go smaller.

1) I will start you out:
6.8x -20.4 = -0.2x + 14.6
6.8x + 0.2x = 14.6 + 20.4 Take it from here.
