Please Factor this:
(3t+5)^2 - (3t+5)

is it: (3t+5)(3t+4)? because it doesn't give me the right answer when I do it.

Yes (3t+5)(3t+4) = 9t^2 + 27t + 20 but it doesn't equal to 9t^2 - 3t + 20 which is the answer of (3t+5)^2 - (3t+5) !. or I maybe wrong.

The answer to (3t + 5)^2 - (3t+5) is 9t^2 + 27t +20 (I think that you are forgetting about the negative sign when you are multiplying out your factors.
Here are the steps
= (3t +5)(3t+5) -(3t+5)
= 9t^2 +15t+15t+25 -3t-5
= 9t^2 +30t+25-3t-5
=9t^2 +27t+20

(3t + 5)^2 - (3t + 5) = (3t + 5)(1 -( 3t + 5) = (3t + 5)( -3t -4)
