but I know that hot water contains a lot of *extra air* thats why it looks cloudy! This happens because theres a lot of space between the molecules of hot water and that space is filled with air, so youre practically drinking air!On the other hand when water gets colder, it becomes more dense and the *extra air* goes out!-first i thought it was oxygen but its not if its 2 word so now im stumped.......

I believe the answer is Oxygen. The solubility of oxygen in water is temperature dependent and decreases as the temperature of water increases.
