1+cos(5pi/6) = 1 + (radical 3)/2.

If you have (1/2)/(1 + (radical 3)/2). (radical 3)/2 is approx. equal to 2, so the approx. value of the denominator is 2. (1/2)/2 is .25 . That is your approx. answer

Your exact answer is

Do this by: (1/2)/[(2+ (radical 3))/2] ----> multiply by the recipricol so your answer is 2 all over 2(2+ (radical 3)), or 1/(2 + (radical 3)
