30% chance of missing, so 3 times in a row is 0.3 * 0.3 * 0.3 = 0.027 which is 2.7%.

It has a 3/10 chance of missing the first time. It has a 3/10 * 3/10 chance of missing the first 2 times, and a 3/10 * 3/10 * 3/10 chance of missing all three times, or 27/1000 = 2.7%

chance of hitting each shot = 0.7

chance of missing each shot = 0.3

chance of missing 3 times in a row = 0.3^3 = 0.027 ... or ... 2.7%
