33...?-The odds of winning the top prize when buying one ticket are 1:549.The odds of winning the top prize when buying 10 tickets are 10:540 which simplifies to 1:54.......
There are 550 tickets available for a raffle; there are three prizes. I bought 10 tickets. So, if the odds of winning with one ticket are 1:550, then does that mean my odds of winning are now 1:55 since I bought ten?
Also, what are the odds of winning ANY prize? 1:18.33...?

The odds of winning the top prize when buying one ticket are 1:549.

The odds of winning the top prize when buying 10 tickets are 10:540 which simplifies to 1:54.

The odds of winning any prize with 1 ticket are 3:547 or 1:182.3.

The probability of not winning any prize when buying 10 tickets is 0.9463
The probability of wining at least one prize is 1 - 0.94463 = 0.0537
The odds of winning at least one prize when buying 10 tickets are approximately 1:17.6

Yes. Your odds are 10/550 = 1/55 to win.

If there are 3 prizes that means 550/3 = 183,(3)
That means 10/183,(3) so... 1/18,33

The odds of winning are now 1:55, yes. I would assume that the odds of winning would include any prize...is that exactly how the question is worded?
