Here is your work above. Dont mind the arrows. I just did that because your work is supposed to be the upside down triangular shape. The answer is -17 (negative 17).........
Subtracting 12 from the product of -7 times 6, dividing the answer by 2, and then subtracting -8.

->12 - (-42) /2 -8
-->12 - 21 - 8
