Depends on what type of algebra you're in. (What grade-level) I would suggest: study hard. Ask questions when you don't understand something. It's nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, there are many classmates in your class who were wondering as well, I'm sure. They'll be secretly grateful. And make sure you do all of your assignments, to get good grades. I'm not sure what class you're in, again, but anything you would do to make it though your other classes with good marks can be applied for algebra as well.
