whose radius is 25 cm.The perimeter of that shape is the same as the circumference of the circle. P= 2 pi*r, where r = 25cm, so P= 50pi cm.Hoping this helps!......
There is a square of side 50cm. The shape inside the square is made by drawing a quarter of a circle at each corner of the square.
Calculate:

(a) the perimeter of the shape inside the square
(b) the area of the shape inside the square

Image below of shape. I'm very stuck on this question. Thanks so much! :)

The picture shows a length of 14, but yours is 50cm , right?

A) the four corners make one circle, whose radius is 25 cm.
The perimeter of that shape is the same as the circumference of the circle. P= 2 pi*r, where r = 25cm, so P= 50pi cm.

B) the area of the inner shape is area(square)- area (circle)

= s^2 - pi*r^2

=50^2-pi*25^2

=2500-625pi

Hoping this helps!
