istarted solving this by doing the distribution...15s-45=12s-43

but then.. what happens?

s=2/3

then add 45 to both sides leaving you with 3s=87

your answer will be the value of 87 divided by 3

15(s - 3) = 12s - 43
15s-45 = 12s-43
15s-12s = 45-43
