How do I convert this to slope-intercept form

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-10-22] [Hit: ]
But i would suggest that u pay attention in math a lil more.y = -x/2 + 1-When you simplify, it should turn out like this [ y=-1/2x+7 ]-Solve for Y, it will automatically be in the right form.......
Point slope form -----> to slope intercept

Remember:
Slope intercept is y = mx + b

y - 4 = -1/2 (x + 6)

-
U have to get (y) by itself. But first u have to foil so u would multiply -1/2 by x and then by 6. So u are left with y-4=-1/2x-3. Then u have to gey y by itself So therefore u have to add 4 to the otherside. And then u are left with y=-1/2x+4-3. U need to add like terms so u will end up with y=-1/2+1. Which isslope intercept for. But i would suggest that u pay attention in math a lil more. Lol

y - 4 = -1/2 (x + 6)
y = -1/2 (x + 6) + 4
y = -x/2 - 3 + 4
y = -x/2 + 1

-
When you simplify, it should turn out like this [ y=-1/2x+7 ]

-
Solve for Y, it will automatically be in the right form.
