I am terrible at maths. I am in year 10 and am one of the worst in the class.
There is one guy in my class who is a complete maths nerd and he even joins maths competitions and wins awards and stuff.
Anyway, we have a test soon on logarithmic functions and the nerd approached me, held out a $50 note in my face and said that he would give me $50 if I could beat him on the test.
I have exactly 4 days until the test and I am so far behind I haven't done a single question in my exercise book.
What chance do I have of beating this nerd? Is it even worth trying?

The more that you hate math, or any subject for that matter, the more that it will love you; meaning that you'd be bound to repeat it.
The ONLY way to excel in Math is to practice, practice, practice the right process, the right way, consistently.
Here's my suggestion: there's one major thing that you need to do to improve your APTITUDE in Math: change your ATTITUDE towards it.

Look the only reason this math nerd is giving betting you $50 because he PROBABLY thinks you can't do it. You CAN do it, but please don't try to beat him for money. Im suggesting go on matheletics.com (that really helped me). You can do anything you put your mind too.
