For (3,4), draw a dotted a vertical line at x = 3 and another at x = 4, and then shade everything between these 2 vertical lines.......
Trying to help someone here and it's been a REAL long time since I've done this stuff. I'll probably pick up on it after help with just this one. Aside from the original question, it's telling me to write it in interval notation and to graph it. Anyone mind helping us out here?

Did is say inclusively or exclusively?
If it says inclusively, the interval is [3,4].
If it says exclusively, or did not say anything at all, we just take it as (3,4).

To graph [3,4] on a number line, shade two circles above x = 3 and x = 4, and then draw a line through them.

To graph (3,4) on a number line draw two circles (without shading the interior of the circles), and then draw a line through them.

If this is to be done on a xy-axis, for [3,4], draw a bolded vertical line at x = 3 and another at x = 4, and then shade everything between these 2 vertical lines. For (3,4), draw a dotted a vertical line at x = 3 and another at x = 4, and then shade everything between these 2 vertical lines.
