I dont find any of these here, so Id say that the domain of the function is all real numbers.f(0) is three. As x moves in either direction from 0, f(x) increases, because the squares of negative numbers are positive numbers,......
I'm not looking for someone to do my homework but I'm confused.
I need to find the domain and range of a problem like this
f(x)=2x^2+3 (^2 is squared)
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way that I find the domain of a function is to look for numbers for which the function is undefined or would result in a number with an imaginary component. I don't find any of these here, so I'd say that the domain of the function is all real numbers.

f(0) is three. As x moves in either direction from 0, f(x) increases, because the squares of negative numbers are positive numbers, so the range of the function is real numbers >=3.

Domain is between infinity and negative infinity; range is between 3 and infinity.
The domain is simple; most quadratic functions are between infinity and negative infinity.
The range however is different. The way to find it, is to find the direction of the quadratic equation and the y coordinate of the vertex. In the equation above, since the leading coefficient is +, the direction of the parabola is going up. Also, since the vertex, is (0,3), (found by using equation x=-b/2a, and inputting x coordinate into equation to get y coordinate), the range is 3 and above. But since the highest number in mathematical terms in Infinity, the number is between 3 and Infinity.

The domain refers to all values that can be inputs. In other words, what numbers can be substituted for x that make the expression valid. In this case, that is all Real #s

The range refers to all values that are possible outputs of the function. Since your equation is that of an upward opening parabola, it has a minimum value- in this case, 3. In other words, no matter what value x is put into the function, you can never get below 3. So, the range is all Reals, 3 and greater.

hmmmm...a geography question. let's see...

f(x) = 2x^2 + 3 well...

domain: all real numbers
range: all non-negative real numbers >= 3 'cause x^2 is always non-negative and you add 3.

:-)

good luck.
