I have 8th grade math homework(even though I'm in 6th grade. I'm in honors math). I'm kinda confused on some problems. I'm not asking for answers, I just want some homework help. Thanks!
Use integers to represent the values in each statement
Since I started my diet, last month, I have lost 6 pounds
When balancing her checkbook, Jane found that she was overdrawn by $20
The weather man on channel six news promised there would be a increase of 15 degrees over the next few days
During the Chicago bears game, the quarterback threw a pass, to help the team gain 45 yards
Complete each sentence with one word from the bank
Bank: Absolute value integers natural numbers rational numbers
*blank*Are numbers that cannot be expressed as a quotient of two numbers
the distance a real number c, is from zero is called the *blank*. It is detonated by *blank*
The *blank* are all the numbers in the set (1234....)
The *blank* are the set is numbers that can be repsented on a number line
The *blank* are the set of all the positive and negative whole numbers
I get on the second set of problems there are more words than questions. My teacher said that it was a typo so some are going to be blank. Thanks again!!

Sorry I can only help you with the first bit since it's summer and my brain is on vacation when it comes to math. To figure out if the integer is positive or negative, you see if the item is being gained or subtracted. Then you find the number by seeing what the problem is referring to and how much is gained or lost.
