1.If a lotus flower covers half of the pond in five days by its growth, how many days it would be take to cover the full pond taking for granted that it grows double of its size everyday?
-
if it currently covers x/2 which is after 5 days and doubles it size evey day then it will have covered whole x ( the pond) on the 6th day
-
It would take only 1 day.
If the flowers currently cover 1/2 of the pond, and they double in size every day, then in 1 day they should double in size. They should therefore cover the other half of the pond in one day, since the whole pond is double their current size.
