Write a rule to describe the function.b. After how many days will the zucchini plant be 0.273 meters tall?A........
1. A plane that carries mail makes a round trip each day from Chicago to New York. It makes 3 intermediate stops on the way to New York and 3 intermediate stops on the way back to Chicago. Suppose you make a graph of the altitude of the plane for one day, with time on the horizontal axis and altitude on the vertical axis. How many times will the graph touch the horizontal axis? (2 points)
A..15
B..8
C..9
D..6

2. A zucchini plant in Darnell’s garden was 14 centimeters tall when it was first planted. Since then, it has grown approximately 0.7 centimeters per day.

a. Write a rule to describe the function.
b. After how many days will the zucchini plant be 0.273 meters tall? (2 points)

A.. 39 days
B..19 days
C..9 days
D..1.4 days

3.. Solve the equation.

1.5x + 4.8 = 12.3 (2 points)
A..4.9
B..5
C..11.4
D..6

1 D because it touches the x axis (the horizontal one) 3 times there and 3 times back in one day if you drew the graph it would have 3 humps

2 a)
H=0.7d +14 it was initially 14 cm and it grows 0.7 cm per day so you just multiply 0.7 by the amount of days and you will find it's height

2b)B
put the value the say in height and you should find d or days by undoing the last things done to the variable you want to find (remember convert to cm first)

27.3 = 0.7d+14
13.3 = 0.7d
19 =d
so after 19 days it is 0.273 metres tall

3.
when they solve they mean find x so just like i did before undo everything done to the x

1.5x + 4.8 = 12.3
1.5x = 7.5
x = 5

I see... when I run into problems like these I type them into google search engine. What you will see is a like or the same math problem. It may take some time but its another way to solve problems. Good Luck.
