I recently purchased a 1000w (watt) "Bionaire ceramic" fan heater. I'm trying to figure out how much heat/energy this heater can produce in 1 hour i.e. if I leave it turned on for 1 hour
I have no previous knowledge on this matter other than the time i spent Googling it.
What I have gathered from my research is; If I leave my 1000w fan heater on for 1 hour it is producing 3.6 megajoules of heat/energy?
Is this true or false?
Thanks in advance for any help :)

That is true.
1000 watts = 1000 J/s
1000 J/s x 3600 s/hour = 3600000 J/hour = 3.6 MJ/hour
Yes, some of the energy is used to turn the fan, but that becomes heat as the air motion changes to heat.
Other answer is picking words. Yes, the heater consumes 3.6 MJ of electrical energy, but it changes that to heat, so it does produce 3.6 MJ of heat.
And ALL of that is heat, as noted above, the fan's energy turns to heat, as does any other losses. An electric heater is the ONLY appliance that is 100% efficient.

False
Your heater does not produce energy. It is consuming, not producing, 1000 watts of power, or 3.6 megajoules of energy in one hour.
It also does not producing 3.6 megajoules of heat, since some of the the energy is used to power the fan and other systems. You need to determine how much power the heater's actual heating element uses to find the amount of heat it produces.
