I currently have a NVQ lvl2/3 in automotive repair and am doing a mechatronics course in college,
I will get the choice of electrical or mechanical for the 2nd year of this course and was wondering what I should do and what I should continue into in university.
I want to do a course where I will be expanding my knowledge of parts designing, cad/cam, CNC, parts testing, mainly conentrating on this like automotive such as designing the suspension, transmision and engine for a vehicle, I also want to look at a bit of electric side so I know how to work on car ECU's and electrics including the newer electric ars which use electric motors to drive.
Is the right course for me mechanical principles? People have said it was but what does this course consist of, what will I be learning?
