Why don't people search for the answers themselves

Most of the questions in the science section can be answered by the asker simply googling what they want to know. Are people getting that lazy that they cannot search for answers themselves? Seriously disappointed in our youth's lack of ambition to learn and search out knowledge for themselves.

The only reason is laziness. Young people are so used to being handed everything they want (cell phone apps to hail a taxi or find a McDonalds, for gods sake) without working for it, they have no idea how to do it for themselves. And using smartphones during class to either cheat on an exam or text with their friends means they learn nothing in school.

So, we can't blame them. They don't know any better (but it will be fun to watch how lost they get if the power goes out for a day).

I believe some of it is laziness. Like the ones who paste questions 1 through 10 without trying. Often these are easy to spot. They are losers.
Some have legitimate questions and just need some guidance.or a differing perspective to understand a point. I find that using examples to help visualize the question and answer to be helpful.
I would rather answer a question with the thought the asker legitimately needs help. If it is not then shame on the asker.
