Perhaps there is no record as there were no survivors, other than the 8 on the arc. Perhaps you are picking low hanging fruit/cherry picking. Perhaps the account is a simplified version of the quantum mechanics, or quark dilation, God used to do whatever he did.......
every culure went on undisturbed. I can find no reference the entire Chinese record of China being wiped out during the bronze-age.

Possibly the Bible account is a parable. Perhaps it happened before the bronze age. Possibly it did not happen on this Earth.
