I have accidentally damaged some amber jewellry by cleaning it with bicarbonate of soda (doh!) and so the stones are now looking dull. Is it possible to take them to a jeweller and get them repolished or is there something I can do aabout it myself?
The silver work has come up a treat though!

try using a little olive oil on it to get back the shine i dont think you would have made any scratches with the bicarb so it hopefully will be fine

Amber is very soft. You can polish it with a jeweler's cloth. That is a cloth with jeweler's rouge (red polish) in the cloth.
