How come a lot of earthquake has been happening in california recently

I`m talking about the earthquakes that we could feel, not the light or weak ones that we cant feel.

I have heard that this week, there has been earthquakes twice in orange county, many in Los Angelos, a couple in northern of california, and I have experienced an earthquake 3.5 yesterday around 2am in orange county and it was on the news.

There are 3,000 earthquakes EVERY WEEK in Southern California. We just don;t feel most of them because they are so small. Normally you wouldn't ever feel a 3.5 unless you were standing right on top of the area it struck. It's completely normal to have this many earthquakes every week. This goes for all of California,Washinton and Oregon.
Don't worry grashopper. It's nothing new.

Hi. I live In L.A County Area too. those 3.5's are nothing though. Earthquakes are perfectly normal in California. We live near the fault line. People were going crazy about that earthquake, but honestly I did not feel it. And I'm a light sleeper.

there was also one in Pasadena a couple days ago.
I also been wondering the same.
