[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-09-04] [Hit: ]
The contact forces exist beneath the earth ,on each other.......
If it is not, what is a non-contact force that can affect my house? Thank you!

Hello Sarah ....

An earthquake could be considered a non-contact force with regard to your house and
other surface structures.

The contact forces exist beneath the earth , where formations are moving and exerting forces
on each other.
